1989 Silverado 4x4 With Custon Rims 1989 Chevy Truck Help Needed.?

1989 chevy truck help needed.? - 1989 silverado 4x4 with custon rims

I recently bought a 1989 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 with the 350th I was wondering if anyone an idea about the problems he had, or where to begin.
1. When accelerating a little spat.
2. At idle, it seems slow. If you go to reverse the drive slows down, so that stumbles into gear.
3. If you till it smokes.
I know he will never be perfect, but if someone does not help, thank you.

1 - change the gas filter, 2 -, where s is a carbohydrate. lower the idle some., 3 - valve seals are shot, it, s natural that the 350 and the valve seals bad. You need a compressor, a valve spring compressor, a series of stamps (roof, the better). Remove the spark plug, insert the hose into the compressor outlet and run the compressor for about 50 pounds from the rockers, install the spring compressor and press the spring and remove the guards, install the new label and put they go together and the next valve.

I've seen temperature sensors, engine coolant cause of these symptoms in the TBI engines. thinking coolant temperature is cooler than it really is. especially not for permanent or check eng light. without a scan tool and knowledge by reading sometimes compare the repair is cheap, but all or nothing. I saw the fuel injectors in the TBI engines, because this problem a little more expensive and less frequent repairs.

Start with a good tune-up. Connectors, cables, cap / rotor, Fule, air filter. It should be much better. Good luck. small things first.
