Pinewood Derby Taxi Why Do Heavier Pinewood Derby Cars Go Down The Track Faster Than Lighter Ones?

Why do heavier pinewood derby cars go down the track faster than lighter ones? - pinewood derby taxi

I thought it was against a law of gravity, everything is affected by gravity at the same speed, only validate the drag. Pinewood Derby cars are shaped the same and have the same drag.

Everything to do with inertia - think about it. It is not with such severity that the rolling resistance and the tendency of the body in motion stay in motion. More mass = more resistance to the same speed.
